A farm favorite with stunning flavor and cloves, Georgian Fire has that classic porcelain sheen; the beauty queens of the garlic world. Cloves grow large and average about 6 to 8 per bulb. Eaten raw they have a pleasantly hot flavor but roasting really brings out their flavor. Approximately 10 garlic bulbs per pound.
Care: Plant 6-8″ apart, 1-2″ deep. Harvest when all but 3-4 leaves turn dry and brown (usually July). Hang to dry in cool, shady, ventilated area for 2 weeks, then store in a cool dark location.
