Cucumber
‘Salad Bush’ - 57 days. A space-saving slicing cuke that produces heavy yields. Salad Bush bears a big harvest of dark green, cylindrical, smooth 8-inch fruit. The plants have an improved tolerance of many diseases.
‘Sweet Success’ - 58 days. F1. Sweet Success is a truly seedless, burpless garden cucumber that produces good yields of 12" long cucumbers that are free of bitterness, with thin, smooth skin. Plant is resistant to Cucumber Mosaic Virus,
Melon
‘Amy’ Canary - 70 days. An easy-to-grow vining melon that tolerates stressful conditions from drought to poor soil. It needs just 6 feet of garden space (or a sturdy trellis). Each melon of this unusual "canary" type weighs about 2- 3 lbs., with a roundish shape, smooth golden rind, and super-fragrant white flesh.
‘Crete’ Galia – 88 days. 3-pound, galia-type fruit with green, netted skin and pale-green flesh and high sugar content. Resistant to fusarium and powdery and downy mildews.
‘Savor’ Charentais - 85 Days. Early maturing and grows to a plump 2 - 2 1/2 pounds. The fruit is very sweet with a rich, orange, fine-textured flesh, and is round and smooth with a gray or gray-blue rind borne on disease-resistant plants.
Pumpkin
‘Atlantic Giant’ – 110 days. Big is an understatement, these pumpkins can grow to well over 1000 pounds and are buff colored with rambling vines that can easily reach 15 feet and set 2-4 fruit per plant.
‘Burpee Prizewinner’ – 120 days. Reddish orange, very large with shape and color superior to Atlantic Giant.
‘Lil’ Pump-Ke-Mon’ 100 days. F1. Plant produces high yields of small 2 lb ornamental pumpkins. They have orange and green stripes on a white background. They are very attractive for decorations.
Tomato
‘Believe It or Not’ - 85 days. Plant produces good yields of extra large 2 lb bright red tomatoes. Very sweet, very juicy, and flavorful. These tomatoes are smooth in shape which is very unusual for an extra large tomato. Indeterminate.
Squash
Luffa -130 days - A very unique variety, often used as sponges for bathing. Due to its long growing time, northern gardeners should start inside and transplant to a sunny location outside after the last spring frost.
‘Portofino’ - Dark green Romanesco-type zucchini has a unique flavor and texture and a long, slender shape. Firm, crisp nutty-tasting fruit satisfies steamed or grilled while small. Larger fruit is grand for stir-fry, sautéing and baking. Slice for a lovely presentation of star-shaped cross sections. 48 days.
Squash ‘Sweet Mama’ - 85 days. Plant produces good yields of 3 lb dark green squash. The yellow flesh is extremely sweet. Excellent storage variety, keeps for 4 months. A winter squash variety. Disease Resistant.
Watermelon
Watermelon ‘Sorbet Swirl’ – 77 days. Flesh has beautiful pastel swirls of red and yellow. Avg. 10 lb. fruits are round to oval, 8" in diameter. Avg. 1-2 fruits/plant.
